Proper exercise (Asana) : Enhances the flexibility of the joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments. The asanas improve circulation, massage the internal organs and improve organ function.

Proper breathing (Pranayama) : Connects the body to the solar plexus, which is an enormous reservoir of energy. Deep, conscious breathing boosts our daily energy reserves.
Relaxation Techniques Relaxation Techniques
Positive thinking and meditation (Vedanta and Dhyana) : Are the keys to peace of mind. By controlling the movements of the mind, we can eliminate negative thought patterns and experience deep inner peace.
Proper relaxation : If the body and mind are subjected to constant overload, their performance suffers. A few minutes of physical, mental and spiritual relaxation counteract worry and fatigue more effectively than several hours of uneasy sleep.

Hand Gestures : In the practice of Yoga, you are encouraged to use your body in many ways, but ultimately with the intention of drawing yourself inward. Mudras are powerful tools to accomplish this. The term mudra applies to the use of hand gestures during meditation that carry specific goals of channelling your body’s energy flow. There are more than 100 known mudras that have been developed over the centuries.

Cleansing Techniques : Kriyas are cleansing techniques in Yoga. There are six purification techniques called Shat Karmas.
  • Neti – Purification of the nose.
  • Dhauti – Purification of the esophagus and stomach.
  • Nauli – Turning of abdominal muscles
  • Basti and Shanka Prakshalana – Complete cleansing of the intestines.
  • Kapalbhati Pranayama – Cleansing the frontal sinuses.
  • Trataka – Concentration on a point or candle flame.

    With more than 20 years of experience in teaching, coaching and conducting Yoga classes for all age groups in India, China and UAE.
    Imparting Yoga in its fullness through various limbs of Yoga, viz. Hatha Yoga, Pranayamas, Kriyas, Mudras and Meditation to enable every participant to experience distinct and positive shift in their physical bodies, emotional well being, breathing and life energies.
    I strive to impart the true essence of traditional Yoga through special attention and guidance, by assessing individual capacities, capabilities, ailments and need using Satyananda and Iyengar Yoga methodologies.
